We are celebrating our 25th shark conservation event and what a way to celebrate…with an event at Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery school, Christchurch. This fantastic school made us very welcome, the students really enjoyed themselves and they kindly donated £50.50 to Friends for Sharks. They also gave us shark art and some beautiful vegetables from their school gardens.

Friends for Sharks began on 28th August 2015 and just seven months later we have toured four countries, raised £6193 and shared the plight of sharks with 2056 people!

It just goes to show what can be achieved with passion, enthusiasm, commitment and the drive to NEVER give up.
