It has been a fantastic week at HQ and we have been working behind the scenes on fundraising and events all week. We have been arranging talks in Vancouver and the Cook Islands and have been delighted with people’s interest in our cause. Thank you to the people of Vancouver and Rarotonga for being so supportive! I hope it won’t be long until we are able to confirm our talk dates and venues at these locations. I can’t wait and have to sit on my hands so I don’t contact people too often to finalise dates.
We have also launched our new clothing range, thanks to Nicholas’s endless work without complaint. Thank you Nicholas! He has worked very hard on this project and I hope you will like the results. We have a super range of t-shirts and hoodies for adults and children, in all colours and styles. In addition to our clothing, we have also produced a range of smaller items that will be perfect for Christmas. We have mugs, key rings, stickers, magnets and hope to produce a beautiful marine photography calendar ready for 2015. The full range of our products can be found here.
We are running a competition at the moment to win a t-shirt of your choosing and it only costs £2 to enter! The money we raise from this competition will be used for our marine educational programme, which we are running in 2015 during our world tour. Please donate £2 and be in with a chance to win. This is all for charity and such a fun, easy way for you to support our cause. The entry details can be found here.
If you need a good reason to donate to our cause by purchasing our products or entering our competition, consider this….We are working on our cause full time without pay, we do not take any salary and there is no admin fee. EVERY SINGLE PENNY we raise is being put towards educating and inspiring others around the world and we are raising money for The Shark Trust and Project AWARE. We are two individuals trying to make a difference to the world around us. I think that alone is worth £2. Do you?
Have a great weekend all and thank you for being a part of Friends for Sharks!
