Exploring The Deep South

With our event in Riverton only the day after Balclutha we took the opportunity to get up early, drive through the Catlins and stop off at the Petrified Forest in Curio Bay. This is a forest that was submerged by a flood 180 million years ago which buried the trees. Many trunks can be seen […]

Friends for Sharks on 3 News

We were recently interviewed by 3 News about the Great White shark cage diving industry at Stewart Island, New Zealand. This industry is highly controversial as locals fear the cage diving operations may have negative impacts upon their fishing industry and water users’ safety. School Holiday Adventures

What with many other people on holiday in New Zealand, we not only felt we should have a chance to explore too, but we also had no schools available to talk to.

We left Mount Cook a little sore in the leg department and the next couple of days saw us both occasionally stopping to stretch. […]

2200 Steps to Recovery

After a busy and successful round of events in Christchurch, we took some time away from our computers to explore the stunning scenery of New Zealand’s south island. We made the most of the glorious Easter sunshine and visited Akaroa, Lake Tekapo and Mount Cook National Park. We found ourselves constantly shouting ‘view’ as each […]

Wendekreisen sponsor Q&A

As we start moving around New Zealand for our 6 month tour, it seems like an ideal time to re-introduce our New Zealand travel sponsor Wendekreisen. We arrived after our week in Vancouver to glorious […]

Visiting Vancouver

As you may be aware from my earlier blog on our Vancouver events, our week in Canada did not run entirely smoothly. However, we still managed to thoroughly enjoy our time in this city of which we had heard nothing but good things from anyone we know who’s visited.

Our arrival began well enough, with a […]
